Below, we have listed contact information for people who have written to express interest in working at Cocha Cashu in 2002 or 2003, both Peruvian and non-Peruvian.  Please correspond directly to learn about experience and availability.

The names, ages, institutional affiliations, and identification numbers (Libreta Electoral) of all Peruvian assistants and collaborators should be included in your application documents. Assistants may work full-time on a principal investigator's project, or be allowed free time in which to pursue an independent project. Often these independent projects lead to research for a Bachelor's or Licenciatura theses in subsequent years.

  I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in biology in the Pontific Catholic University of Quito. I've done two field courses in the rainforest and worked in the University Vertebate Musueum for two years. I have good knowledge in tropical anurans. My Licenciatura thesis was a behavioral project on Nazca Bobbies in the Galapagos Islands done from Oct. 2001- Jan. 2002. I'm currently writing my thesis and will have my degree by November. I would love to work at Cocha Cashu to acquire more experience. I'm very good at fieldwork and my English is fluent. From January 2003 on I'm free.
