At present, Cocha Cashu requires a prepayment (deposit) to be made before anyone can enter the Biological Station.

1. Are you allergic to penicillin or other medicines, bee and wasp stings, other?  
2. Are you diabetic?  
Each person should bring his/her own medicines, extra, and similar items.  
The Station will assume that you have had the appropriate shots.  
If you are allergic to insect stings, bring an epistick or similar kit to carry with you at all times in the field.  
Everyone must also carry an extractor kit.  
   
Do you know how to swim?  
Entry to and exit from Cashu require considerable boat travel, and people bathe in the lake.  
If you do not swim, bring a life jacket. Even if you do swim, we recommend that you use a life jacket whenever you are traveling by boat.  
   
   
Are you a vegetarian?  
At times when there is a cook at the station, she/he will prepare two main dishes, one with and one without meat or fish.  
However, each person should be either an herbivore or a carnivore throughout his/her stay.  
Please do not switch from meal to meal according to personal likes and dislikes.  
   
Will you need an office, desk space, or other special work space?  
Office space is limited, but we will try to accommodate everyone's needs. Any special needs (e.g., greenhouse space)?
