Trees & Wreaths

Choose and Cut Trees

Virginia Pine
The Virginia Pine is probably the most commonly grown choose and cut Christmas tree in Eastern North Carolina. This tree has shorter needles than the white pine and is very sturdy capable of holding heavier ornaments.
Eastern Red Cedar
The "traditional" North Carolina Christmas tree. Many North Carolinians have grown up with the Cedar as their Christmas tree. Many folks have told us how they went to the woods, sought out that perfect Cedar and brought it home for Christmas.
Leyland Cypress
This is a relatively new Christmas to the choose and cut market. We planted our first field of these a few years back. They are quicker growing trees, reaching selling heights in 4 to 5 years and offer some advantages over pine and cedar. They often develop into tall (10 ft +) trees, they do not require shaking to remove dead needles, are more resistant to disease and insects and have a slow drying rate.
Carolina Saphire
The Carolina Sapphire is similar to the Leyland Cypress but with a lighter blue-green color and needles that are soft to the touch.
Blue Ice
We have planted some of these unique trees, the shape and folage is similar to the Carolina Sapphire but the color is similar to a Blue Spruce.... look for these in the coming years.

Cut Trees

Fresh Cut North Carolina Grown Fraser Firs

We travel to the North Carolina mountains each year to hand select our Fraser Firs. The Fraser Fir is considered the "Cadillac" of Christmas Trees. North Carolina is one of the largest (if not the largest) producer of Fraser Firs in the country. These trees have a wonderful aroma with short needles that are a silvery blue on the underside. Our Firs are fresh cut and delivered to our Farm weekly where we display them in water to maintain freshness.
We will continue to offer the highest quality Fraser Fir tree at the BEST price possible. Don't get taken by the tree lots... if you want quality, value, great atmosphere, friendly service and MORE, visit us at the Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm.
