CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION:
PREREQUISITES: Previous registration in private instruction in applied music at Duke and audition. Open only to sophomores possessing an exceptional technical and interpretive command of a musical medium. Admission to these courses will be subject to the approval of the director of undergraduate studies and the instructor. The instructor and course content will be established in accordance with the individual students' interests and capabilities.
PERMISSION REQUIRED: Yes

SYNOPSIS OF COURSE CONTENT: A project in music performance that is approved by professor and developed independently by the student.

ASSIGNMENTS: Biweekly progress meetings with the professor

EXAMINATIONS: No exams
TERM PAPER: No Term Paper
GRADE TO BE BASED ON: Ability to complete project
