PhD Dissertation:

A Fast and Robust Framework for Image Fusion and Enhancement , Sina Farsiu, University of California, Santa Cruz, December 2005

Data Sets for superresolution and demosaicing:

Through the years, according to the reproducible research principal, me and my colleagues have made available almost all data sets used in our publications. Most data sets that I have created for different super-resolution and demosaicing scenarios are available here. The condition for using any of these data-sets in your research is either referencing our corresponding publication or directly acknowledging the data-set creators.

Software:
  1. MDSP Resolution Enhancement (Super Resolution) Software: According to the reproducible research principal, I created this (now commercialized) software package in collaboration with Drs. Dirk Robinson, Prof. Michael Elad, and Prof. Peyman Milanfar while at UCSC. The main function of this software tool is the implementation of several superresolution techniques in our published work, and the comparison of these to other work. The techniques implemented cover robust methods, dynamic color super-resolution methods, and simultaneous demosaicing and resolution enhancement. Please forward all your questions and enquiries directly to my former PhD advisor Prof. Milanfar, who is managing/distibuting the software.
  2. Duke Optical Coherence Tomography Retinal Analysis Program (DOCTRAP): According to the reproducible research principal, I’m developing this software in collaboration with Stephanie J. Chiu, Prof. Joseph Izatt, and Prof. Cynthia A. Toth. The main function of this software tool is automatic detection and segmentation of drusen in retinal images captured via SDOCT. The first version of this software will be soon released.

I've no comments with respect to the rumor that the students and professors, who have used my papers, software, or datasets in their research publications without proper acknowledgment, have mysteriously disappeared in the grad-school abyss (never have graduated or tenured, respectively)!
