lemur wearing gaze tracking gear UPDATE: The newest, most-powerful (partially tested, potentially buggy) version of Skriatok is available here. It includes Videoscore and Videosketch, and can stabilize data based on fiducial markers both to expedite data coding and for display. There are a lot of fiddly bits that are still getting revised. You're welcome to use this but be aware of potential bugs. If you use this, please let me know either that it's working or that you've encountered something I should fix.

Skriatok is the GUI I wrote for matlab to facilitate video coding in naturalistic gaze-tracking applications. It's not particularly sophisticated, and I'm still working on upgrades as the occasion warrants. The basic script is videoscore.m but also requires videoscore.fig, videoscore_addtarg.m, and videoscore_addtarg.fig. I think this version should work in Matlab 6.5, whereas the newest update is written for Matlab 7.1. In any case let me know if you have trouble and I'll see if I can fix it. I save my video files as "NYearMoDa.avi" consisting of the lemur's initial followed by the date. Data files are equivalent, ending in "*.mat", and are grouped together in subdirectories. If you use a similar system, you can output an indexed list of all tracked locations by running quicklist.m in the parent directory.

Apologies for the kludginess of all this. I'm happy to host and credit any revisions y'all might contribute. Feel free to distribute, use and improve these scripts anywhere you like. I'm happy to field any questions you might have and can be reached here.
