RUSH APO -- Spring 2008

DATES AND LOCATIONS OF INFO SESSIONS:

Coming soon...

Rush ends (date coming soon...)

RUSH is designed to give you an opportunity to find out who and what we are by participating in various APO activities. To start off, come to one of our rush information sessions. We will assign you a rush counselor to answer your questions and keep you informed with upcoming events.

In order to be invited to pledge APO, a rushee must complete the Rush Requirements:

Attend 1 rush information session
Attend 2 service projects
Attend 1 social event

APO is a coed, non-selective, non-residential, service fraternity. Basically, this is a long way of saying that we are a service organization with social facets.

Our local chapter, Lambda Nu, has about 50+ brothers who participate in a variety of service projects each week. Throughout the week, projects include tutoring children and adults, working with boy scouts and girl scouts, hanging out at the John Avery Boys and Girls Club, assisting women and children in transitional housing at Genesis Home, and much more.

Our fraternity's motto is Leadership, Friendship, and Service. We encourage all members to take initiative in running for elected office or becoming a project head for a new service site. In addition to the service aspect, there are many opportunities to meet great new people. We have weekly social events such as our on-campus brotherhood dinners as well as semi-formals, sectional conferences, retreats, and a senior banquet.

If you choose to rush (or even if you aren't sure yet!), come to an info session. If you can't attend an info session but are still interested in rushing, please email ecs15 and let us know- we're still excited to have you!
