Summer 2008 Costs and Scholarships

The cost of the summer program is $5700. The cost of the program includes tuition, course materials (including textbooks), extracurricular activities, mid-semester travel, weekend excursions, meals, and lodging in China. Some scholarship funding is available for Duke students. To apply for a scholarship please visit our web page to download an application.

Please note that program tuition does not include international airfare or costs associated with getting a visa. A one-time transcript fee of $40.00 is charged to non-Duke students.

Financial Aid

1. Financial aid for Duke University undergraduate students is available. Please check with the Duke University Financial Aid Office for application forms and deadlines.

3. Financial aid for Duke University graduate students for the summer 2008 session may be available from the Department of Education in the form of FLAS Awards.
