Collaborative Authorship and the New Electronic Media

The definition of the new media requires that everything on it be a shared work, in some shape and form. World Wide Web pages, such as this one, must be connected to someone else's creation in order to be seen. MUDs and MUSHes use the work of their inhabitants to create their world. There are a lot of questions that can and need to be asked about collaborative authorship in the electronic world, and this project will try and answer some of them. This project, in fact, is a collaborative piece of work. No piece within will be identified as being created by one author or by several. Try and identify who wrote what. We encourage it. Maybe by examining a collaborative work, you can discover on your own the merits and flaws of this type of work. If not, never fear. After all, that's what we're here for.
