Those who subscribe will be able to do the following:
1. Send an e-mail message to all of the other subscribers on the AEC mailing list.
2. Receive all e-mail messages that are sent in by other mailing list subscribers.
3. Receive AEC e-mail news announcements.
4. Receive a list of recent EUS publications on a regular basis.
5. Unsubscribe from and resubscribe to the list.
6. Receive information about the AEC mailing list. (This Document)
This is an open list. Anyone can add themselves to the list by sending e-mail to majordomo@acpub.duke.edu with "subscribe eus" in the message text. (Do not use the subject line) Similarly, anyone can unsubscribe themselves by sending e-mail to the same address with the message "unsubscribe eus".
After subscribing, the new AEC mailing list member will receive information about the mailing list (this document), and any messages that are directed to the AEC mailing list. They will be sent automatically to the e-mail address where the subscription request originated.
In order to send a message to all those on the mailing list, the message should be e-mailed to eus@acpub.duke.edu. This message will then be redirected to everyone on the list.
In order to get an updated information document about the AEC mailing list, the message: "info eus" (without the quotation marks) should be e-mailed to majordomo@acpub.duke.edu. An information document will then be e-mailed back to the sender.
We hope that this service will enhance communication among those of us who are interested in endoscopic ultrasound. It offers an opportunity for one subscriber to inform the rest about important EUS issues, research activities, etc. It also allows individuals to direct questions to a large group with a wealth of EUS experience and knowledge.
