Gradlife Festival

Coming this Spring... GRADLIFE FESTIVAL!!! This is the early bird-announcement of this festival comprised of two parts:

  1. Gradlife Documentary Contest: Teams of grad/professional students will make short movies about their Duke experiences, which will be screened for the entire university community, and compete for a $500 cash prize and other prizes. If you get to make a christmas wish-list put a camcorder on there too, for you could be that lucky group to win!
  2. Shadow-a-grad/professional-student-day: Have you always wanted to be a role model? Do you want to mentor and show undergrads what your life is like? We will be matching undergrads interested in graduate/professional school with students in related fields, to shadow them for a couple of hours, a day, a semester - whatever works between the matched pair. Keep an eye out for emails with detailed announcements early in the Spring semester! If you would like to get involved with helping organize this event or have any questions send an email to the email address listed below.

Inter-Institutional Agreements at Duke

Is the class you want or need to take not offered at Duke this semester? Are you interested in taking classes outside of Duke but aren't sure you can afford it? Duke has established inter-institutional agreements with the following area universities: UNC Charlotte, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro, NC State, and NC Central. These agreements outline the procedure for tuition billing and grade transfer between Duke and the visited school, and cover graduate and professional schools. View the document below for more details.

Who's my GPSC Representative?

The GPSC General Assembly is composed of representatives from every department and school. This group meets twice a month to discuss issues of importance to graduate and professional students and to hear from campus administrators. To learn who is voting on your behalf, visit the representatives page.

Apply for a University Committee

Would you like to learn more about how Duke works, be involved in important University decisions, and have an opportunity to interact with faculty, staff, administrators, and students throughout the university? Then you should apply to serve on a University Committee! All graduate and professional students are eligible to apply; you do NOT need to be a GPSC Representative!
