This committee is looking at environmental issues related to energy use in every facet of Duke life: transportation, heating, generation, etc. In particular, it is looking for ways to include renewable and clean energy options in Duke's master plan.

This past year, the Energy Committee has been working on the Facilities Management's Energy Management Plan. They collaborated on a draft submitted to the University by a consulting company and is working to make the Energy Management Plan an in-house project.

In 2004, the Energy Committee members put on the Sustainable Energy Future Forum.
