Athletic Liason Officers

The Duke University Police Department plays an active role in mentoring Duke athletes through its Athletic Liaison Program.

Sgt. Mark Faust and Lt. Tony Shipman are the liaisons for Duke teams, providing crime prevention programming and information, as well as safety when teams play at home or at other college campuses. Members of the Athletic Liaison Program maintain a high level of availability for athletic teams and their fans and build relations on and off the field and court.
