Crime Prevention
The Duke University Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit provides various services to help deter criminal activity. Along with hosting workshops and engraving personal electronics, the Crime Prevention unit also tracks and analyzes crime patterns to determine specific policing and security strategies.
Victim Assistance
The Duke University Police Department treats all crime victims with dignity, compassion and respect. We work to make sure all crime victims get the assistance and information they need, and we are committed to doing our best to help you.
Police / Student Committee
The police department’s student advisory committee, comprised of student leaders, meets with representatives from the police department to discuss topics of concern and to develop effective educational programs to raise safety awareness about campus safety.
Athletic Liason Officers
The Duke University Police Department plays an active role in mentoring Duke athletes through its Athletic Liaison Program.
