Safe/Van Rides
Duke faculty, staff and students may request van rides during certain hours and within a specific boundary through Duke's Parking and Transportation Services.
Duke SafeRides vans provide free rides daily during certain hours to and from on-campus locations (where bus service is not available), and to off-campus areas within the service boundary. Medical Center Van Services provides free transportation to all Duke employees and students for trips between Duke University Hospital and some Duke research and medical facilities. Van service is available 24 hours daily. To request service, call (919) 684-2020.
Neither Medical Center Van Service or SafeRides duplicates existing Duke Transit routes or schedules.
