Psi Upsilon: some of us wear dresses – but (usually) not the men. Now that we have your attention, let us introduce ourselves. We are Duke’s only co-educational fraternity: an eccentric group of students who don’t quite fit the traditional fraternity mold. Most of us never considered joining ‘frats’ before encountering Psi Upsilon. We were struck by what Psi U doesn’t do. Psi U doesn’t require funneling skills, a dress code, or even a Y chromosome. We’re ultimately appealing because of who we are. We attract an eclectic group of people with wide-ranging interests: drop by on a Friday night and you’ll see anything from theme parties to board games, heady philosophic discussions to invigorating games of outdoor capture-the-flag, or even hearty “family” dinners. Admittedly, academics are important; in between our elaborately decadent and hedonistic parties, we find the time to study, often together.
Now that you know a little bit about us, feel free to take some time to look around our site. If you want to learn more about the Chi Delta, it’s members, and our location, you’re in the right place.
