Lingaraj Temple

Lingaraj Temple is a limestone complex located in Bhubaneshwar, India and dedicated to Tribhuvaneswar (Lord of the Three Worlds). The temple dates from the 10th century. The complex is surrounded by a 7-foot thick wall and is entered through a pyramid-shaped anteroom (jogomohan) in the 180-foot high sanctuary (vimana). It is not accessible to non-Hindus. However, there is a viewing platform, originally built by the British Raj for the visit of Lord Curzon.
