Triangle Bike to Work Week

WHEN: May 12th - 16th, 2008

Prices at the pump putting a strain on your wallet? Join millions of Americans who are getting on their bikes and riding to work this week to celebrate Bike to Work Week 2008.

As gas prices soar this summer, why not try an alternative transportation solution such as biking. This option will not only save money but will help reduce pollution and traffic congestion while you get a workout. Biking is increasingly becoming more popular commute and errand-running alternative in the Triangle region due to an accommodating climate, bikes on buses programs, improved roadway facilities, a growing network of transit systems, health-conscious residents, and enhanced sidewalks for pedestrians and runners.
