This committee developed out of Procurement Services' Green Purchasing initiative.  During its work to "green" the products and services it provided for campus labs, Procurement Services staff recognized the need for a group of lab users to pilot and recommend new options.

Committee goals:

• identify environmentally preferable lab products and services to recommend for use in campus labs
• create a community of environmentally-minded lab staff to develop and promote "green" management practices for labs
