If you ride public transportation, bicycle, walk or carpool/vanpool, then you may find yourself in need of special transportation arrangements in the event of an emergency (you fall ill, have a sick family member, or must leave or arrive outside of your normal ridesharing schedule).

Duke University and Medical Center employees are eligible for free, reliable transportation provided through Triangle Transit Authority's Emergency Ride Home Program.  Employees must pre-register with TTA in order to receive their voucher.
