EVENT: Duke Forest Annual Gathering

The Duke Forest cordially invites you to our Annual Gathering, to be held on Thursday, November 12 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm.  Come hear highlights of recent research, teaching and forest management from the past year, as well as an outline of future projects.  The event will be held at the New Hope Improvement Association Center, on Whitfield Road in Chapel Hill. Refreshments will begin at 5:30 pm, with the program beginning at 6:00 pm.

The evening will feature a presentation by Judson Edeburn, Resource Manager as well as a special guest speaker, Stewart Dunaway on his fascinating research which has helped piece together the history of the mills of New Hope Creek. The Clarence Korstian Award for exemplary
support of the Duke Forest will also be presented, and the Office of the Duke Forest will also be announcing an exciting upcoming event!

At this website, you can also sign up for other events, including the Annual Research Tour, to be held on Friday, November 13 from 1 to 4 pm.  But hurry -- spaces on these tours are limited!
