Despite recent rain, Durham County, like many counties in North Carolina, is still suffering from severe drought conditions and struggling to overcome the worst drought in recorded history. Duke is working to reduce water consumption in accordance with the city of Durham's water restrictions and urging faculty, staff and students to conserve every day.
