Modify an Existing Course


Funding Available for Modification of Existing Courses

Course modification and course development funding opportunities are announced to department chairs and program directors by the Office of the Dean of Faculty of Arts & Sciences or from the Office of the Dean of Trinity College. Interested faculty should ask their chair or program director about any current funding opportunities and requests for proposals from these offices.

Funding for the Integration of Innovative Technologies

Faculty interested in obtaining funding for the integration of innovative technologies into an existing course should visit the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) web site.

Modification of Curriculum Codes

For regular course offerings numbered 1--299 in Trinity College of Arts and Science and the Graduate School all requests for course changes and curriculum codes must be made by departments and programs and submitted to the Course Committee using the forms available at http://www.aas.duke.edu/faculty/forms/

Forms must be signed by the department chair or program director as well as the director for undergraduate studies and/or director for graduate studies (for courses numbered 200 and above).
