Scheduling Space For a One-Time Event

Occasionally, faculty may wish to reserve a classroom for one-time events or events related to their course that only occur a few times a semester (e.g., review sessions, film screenings, guest speaker presentations, etc.). In these instances the faculty member should contact the classroom scheduler in the school where the requested classroom is located.

• Arts & Sciences. see the classroom schedules for the semester (these schedules do not include one-time events.)
  

Below is a directory of the individuals responsible for course and classroom scheduling in each school. "Other space" refers to conference and meeting rooms that may be used for events that are not part of a regularly scheduled course (e.g., colloquium, faculty meeting, thesis defense, special presentation).

• Student Service Center
  For A&S classrooms request contact the Student Service Center, Ph. 684-2001.

  The Office of the University Registrar is no longer scheduling space for one time events.

  Some Arts & Sciences classrooms, labs, and computing labs are under the scheduling control of individual academic departments or programs. Faculty or individuals outside that department wishing to use these spaces must contact the department directly. The Classroom Search tool indicates which classrooms are controlled by individual departments.

  Important information on after-hours usage of Arts & Sciences classroom space (i.e., on weekday evenings and weekends) is available on the A&S Facilities website.
