Scheduling space for a one-time event Occasionally, faculty may wish to reserve a classroom for on-time events or events related to their course that only occur a few times a semester. more. . . Descriptions of the Types of Classrooms Available Inquiries about different classroom types should be directed to
the office in each school that schedules classroom space (see above).
There are three primary classifications for Arts & Sciences classrooms:
those that accommodate small courses (<25 students); mid-size courses
(>25, <100) and large lecture courses (>100). Within each of these
categories there may be a variety of seating styles and other classroom
attributes available. The online Classroom
Search tool can be used to find classrooms with particular capacity,
furniture, and equipment attributes. This tool can also be used to
look up specific Arts & Sciences classrooms. Listings include a photograph
of the room and other pertinent information about its physical and
AV characteristics.
Departmental Computer Labs and Resources
Duke
