Assess Your Course Student Course Evaluations Some schools, departments and programs utilize customized course evaluation tools, which are administered and analyzed internally. Questions about these course assessment instruments should be directed to the appropriate school/departmental administrator. In order to provide faculty with feedback on their course and teaching effectiveness, undergraduate courses offered in Trinity College of Arts & Sciences are evaluated at the end of each semester/summer session term via the Trinity College Student Course Evaluation Form. Forms are distributed to instructors following the end of Drop/Add and should be given to students by the instructor no later than the last day of classes. Completed evaluations are then returned to the Trinity College Assessment Office for analysis. Once analysis is complete, summary reports and the original course evaluation forms are returned to department chairs and program directors who are responsible for sharing them with instructors. Student evaluations are anonymous and access to each course analysis report is restricted to the department chair/program director and the instructor.
