Duke Today is a new resource for the Duke community.
Duke Today is published daily online by the Duke University Office of News & Communications. It provides a convenient and entertaining news source for the Duke University community, providing a daily update of the most significant university news, features, events and employee information.
We encourage members of the Duke community to use Duke Today as their main information source and hope faculty and staff visit it daily and make it their home page.
It contains:
- Feature stories on research, classroom study, the university's role in the community and other topics of general interest
- A daily listing of the major news clips about Duke
- A daily listing of that day's public events on campus and selected upcoming events
- Information of value to employees' work and daily lives -- from parking to discount tickets, health benefits to dining options
- Featured university websites and multimedia presentations
- News feeds from the Duke Office of News & Communications on topics ranging from health news to the humanities
- Customizable links to popular university websites
The Duke on Camera feature
We encourage members of the Duke community to contact us if they have videos or ideas for a topic that could become a Duke on Camera feature.
Duke on Camera uses the Flash player plugin that comes with most browsers. If you do not have this plugin installed a free download is available here.
Duke Today, along with the homepage, www.duke.edu, and two publications, This Month at Duke and Working@Duke, provide a vehicle for communication among the members of the campus community. We welcome your feedback.
