History: According to memoranda in the records of the Board of Trustees ( Sept. 4, 1935), the Publications Council was chartered in 1924 -- presumably by the Board of Trustees -- and reorganized by the Executive committee in 1935. There is no record of a vote on either the chartering or the reorganization. The board currently (1996) publishes The Archive, Blindspot, Carpe Noctem, Chanticleer, Eruditio, Latent Image, Open Forum, Prometheus Black, Teacher Course Evaluation Book, Tobacco Road, Vertices, and the Women's Handbook.

Contents: Correspondence, memoranda, constitutions, bylaws, minutes, reports, clippings, and other records, with bulk dates to 1985.
