Membership Requirement 
CASMU membership is open to all CAS majors and prospective majors, though 
only majors can vote. All members are encouraged to participate in facilitating 
programs and to attend executive board meetings to offer their input.

Mission CASMU's mission is to foster interaction between CAS undergraduate majors and the faculty, to work toward improving the major by acting as a liaison between the students and the CAS Steering Committee, to aid in the recruitment of new majors, to work with various campus organizations and departments to raise awareness about international studies and the various areas treated by the major, to form a coherent network of majors, and to facilitate students' access to opportunities that will enhance their participation in the major, including study abroad, internships, and job/career opportunities.
