GRANTS AND AWARDS

Grants and Awards are available on a limited basis. The Center for International Studies offers grants to rising sophomores to do summer research abroad. CAS holds a competition to select a small group of majors to organize a scholarly symposium upon a comparative/global issue (course credit can also be earned). Summer stipends for travel and research abroad are offered to selected rising senior majors planning to enroll in the honors seminar. The author of the best research paper submitted to the honors seminar is recognized by an award for excellence in comparative analysis.
