Why Kappa?

"When I joined Kappa, only one of my closest friends was in my pledge class, but as I have gotten older and grown into myself, I can literally say thatalmost all of my best friends are Kappa. The question to me seems this: when you start to form your real deep friendships, what type of girl do you want them to be with? My answer: fun, spirited girls who party with you when times are good and hold your hand when times are bad. I know I am the kind of person I want to be today because I went Kappa."

-Whitney Beckett, Duke '04
