Teacher Certification is administered at the state level across the United States. As an approved North Carolina program, MAT recommends graduates to the North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction for advanced level certification. The North Carolina State Department of Public Instruction has reciprocal agreements with most states, and many states recognize teacher certification for graduates of colleges and universities accredited by NCATE.
