
Durham, which is located in the Research Triangle in North Carolina, is home to nearly 200,000 residents. Durham enjoys a moderate year-round climate and a reasonable cost of living.
Durham is also home to a second university, North Carolina Central, the first state-supported liberal arts college for African-Americans in the United States.
