MAT is a collaborative program of the Duke Graduate School and the Durham Public School System. Administratively housed within the Graduate School, the MAT Program guarantees that future teachers have extraordinary depth in their teaching field through course work in Duke's nationally recognized Graduate School Departments. Through the collaborative arrangement with the Durham Public School System, MAT ensures that its students have a thorough understanding of high school teaching.
