Project WILD is a student-run organization at Duke University dedicated to Experiential Education. Part of our yearly operation is the annual August Pre-Orientation Trip, where incoming freshmen (around 100) can get a headstart meeting fellow Dukies. Our volunteer staff (all Duke Upperclassmen) help freshmen with adjusting to a new school, learning about the wilderness, their peers and themselves. Freshmen enter Duke with upperclassmen contacts, a tight set of freshmen friends, and an unforgettable experience.
