Recruitment
Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society for women and the mother of today's sorority system. Almost 100 years ago, ADPi became the first sorority on Duke's campus, as well. Today, ADPi still sets the bar in sisterhood, leadership, service, and just plain fun!
This is our motto, and it?s true every day. ADPis spend busy days and late nights together. We volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, wear rollerskates for mixers, and play on sports teams together. We support each other, smile, laugh, and celebrate together. ADPis share those genuine bonds sisterhood that you're yearning for that last throughout our years at Duke and long past graduation.
On campus, the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi are leaders in Duke Student Government, Panhel, the Community Service Center, and the Chronicle. ADPi women showcase their talents on the soccer, volleyball, swim, fencing, and cheerleading teams. Our sisters perform with Out of the Blue, Awaaz, On Tap, the Dancing Devils, and Dance Slam. Those of us not on the stage, court, or field are always together in the crowd, showing enthusiastic support. Because of this excellence on Duke?s campus and in the classroom, Alpha Delta Pi women enjoy the genuine respect of our campus and community.
ADPi is green accessories, shamrocks, and blind dates at "Kiss Me, I'm ADPi-rish," and dancing all night at I Love 80Pi, and making dozens of waffles at our bi-annual Waffle Breakfast, and sunny days at football tailgates. ADPi is semesters and summers spent together around the globe.
The women of ADPi have warm, sincere friendships. We spend our years at Duke together, creating memories of friendship and fun that will never leave us. As individuals, we are amazing, but together, we are unstoppable!
