Welcome to the Duke University Chapter of AID
What is AID?
Association for India's Development (AID) is an
amalgamation of individuals who want to make a difference to society
and in the process - themselves. We are a non-profit voluntary
organization funding projects and movements that aim at eradicating
poverty, illiteracy and other social evils. Our strive towards
providing access to health care, education and equal opportunity is
realized through our partner NGOs (Non-governmental organizations) in India that share the same
dream. From its humble beginnings in a student's apartment a decade
ago, AID has grown into a vibrant organization with volunteers from
all over US and India.

The Duke chapter of AID was founded in 1997.
Duke University is located
in Durham, North Carolina and is home to the Blue Devils, the
nation's premier college basketball team.
