What is Arnold Air Society?


      Arnold Air Society is a professional, honorary, service organization which is composed of Air Force ROTC and Air Force Academy cadets. The words 'professional,' 'honorary,' and 'service' are key to understanding what Arnold Air Society is all about.

Professional - The members of Arnold Air intend to become officers in the United States Air Force. AAS helps to instill the qualities of dedication and responsibility necessary for an Air Force officer.

Honorary - Every member of Arnold Air must meet and maintain high standards to be a member of the squadron.

Service - Arnold Air is about helping others. The members give time and effort to their community, their campus, and the Air Force.
 
 

Arnold Air Society has three goals:

  • To provide additional leadership opportunities to cadets 
  • To recruit for the United States Air Force
  • To represent the cadet wing and the Air Force to the campus and the community through service

Other Facts About Arnold Air

Motto - The warrior who cultivates his mind polishes his arms.

Colors - White, to represent the purity of our intent
              Red, to symbolize shed blood of Americans fighting for freedom
              Blue, to represent the color of the sky in which we fly
              Gold, to represent the wings with which we fly and warrior courage
