Our
Mission
While technology
has always been a key driver behind economic expansion, the current
technological boom is unprecedented. The use of technology has not only
revolutionized every existing industry, it has generated entirely new
ones. Examples include in-dash satellite navigation systems for cars,
portable stock trading systems via a wireless Palm VII and sophisticated
pricing systems enabled by the Web. The role of the Business Technology
Club of Duke University's Fuqua School of Business is simple. We aim
to:
- Educate the community
about the latest technological innovations--with particular emphasis
on how these innovations affect the future business leader.
- Establish relationships
with top companies that both employ these technologies and develop
them.
