Prelab 1: 24 hours with computers

Bring the answers to the following questions in the form of a webapge in HTML to your lab period. You should write out the necessary HTML code by hand and bring the written HTML code. You will type the HTML code in during the lab.

  1. For one 24 hour period:
    1. Write down ALL interactions you have with a computer
    2. What would change in your life if all computers stopped working?
  2. The premise that our society is different from what it would have been without the computer revolution is generally accepted. Is our society better that it would have been without the revolution? Is our society worse? Would your answer differ if your position within society were different?

Your webpage must also contain the following information

  1. Name
  2. Lab section
  3. Year
  4. Hometown
  5. Something biographical and hopefully interesting
  6. A clean computer science related joke, haiku, or limerick
