1. 2004 Chinese Community Picnic at Lake Wheeler Park on 8/8 Sunday

Dear friends,
The 2004 Chinese Community Picnic will be held on August 8(Sunday) at LakeWheeler Park in Raleigh. The picnic event has been organized by CAFAannually to serve the whole Chinese community. We are pleased to see moreand more community friends come to join this event, last yearthe number of participants reached above 800. In order to hold moreparticipants, we have reserved two large shelters close to each other. Webelieve the participants will enjoy the scenic environment, enjoythe picnic food, enjoy the entertainment and the pleasure to meetcommunity friends.
Time:
4:30-7:30pm, August 8 (Sunday)
4:30-5:45pm Community Socialization;
5:45pm Food Service;
6:00pmEntertaining Programs

Lake Wheeler Park Shelters in Raleigh
Admission: $3/Adult, $2/Kid or Senior

3. Student Service Center- Pay your Bursar bill by going to Allen Building

Many of you may be wondering where you'll need to go now that the Bursar'soffice has moved out of Allen Building. Luckily, you will still be able topay your Bursar bill or set up payroll deductions by going to AllenBuilding. A new Student Service Center is opening in August to meet theneeds of students in one office rather than in many. See this link for a Chronicle article on the changes and the text below for a list ofplanned services.

It is our pleasure to invite Dr. Linxian Wu, President of Wu & AssociatesManagement Consulting LLC, to make a business presentation to the Chinesecommunity.
