Deal all,New Chinese students this year are coming and settling down. DCSSA wants to offer the sincere acknowledgement to all community members that helped with new students picking up and shopping trips.
For those who had picked up students at the airport, you can claim the gas and parking fee reimbursment from DCSSA by sending your name, address(campus address preferred), and number of trips you had to our treasure Fang Liu at fl8@ee.duke.edu. One trip reimbursment will be $5. We also expect more help to these new family members during their first few days at Duke.

4. Invitation to Yip's Children's Choir concert on 8/18From: Kldq@aol.com
Yip's Choir, a choral group of international renown who performed with cellist Yo-Yo Ma at the Hong Kong Handover Ceremony in 1997.
The choir will perform a selection of Christian, classical and folk choral music in English and Chinese.
Time: August 18(Wednesday),2004 (There are 2 sessions, one at 6 pm and the other one at 8 pm)
Address:Forest Hills Baptist Church201 Dixie Trail,Raleigh, NC.
Admission is free.
Donations are welcome in support of Operation Dawn of Hong Kong, China, a Christian treatment and rehabilitation center for drug and substance dependency.

There are 4 bedrooms; I am looking for 2 female roommates, each pays $400 plus shares 1/3 of utilities per month. Rooms are furnished, huge, carpeted and walk-in closets. House is fully furnished with washer/dryer, hardwood floors, fireplace, all new appliances, cable, high speed and wireless internet. Share with a graduate student. Prefer Christian, non- smoker.
