Welcome new & Welcome back picnic at Eno River on Sep 5th
Dear all community members,
The new semester brings our new DCSSA members and gets our senior members together again from a long summer. According to Chinese culture, we usually celebrate the beginnings. DCSSA will present an eno river hiking trip followed by a picnic next Sunday(Sep 5th). By bring the whole Chinese community together in a great scene, we expect possible living/study/research mentoring from senior members to our newly coming friends.
WHAT: -Hiking along eno river -Enjoying the music -Fishing and other sports (bring your facilities) -Picnic on the riverside
WHO: whole Chinese community -DCSSA members $4/admission(present your DCSSA card) -others $6/admission
WHEN: 10:00am-2:00pm, Sep 5th, Sunday 9:40am get together if ride needed
ATTENTION: -Registration needed?to help us prepare enough food(pls reply including your name,dept and number of presence). -New students pls registrate with Xiaodong Yang(he will drop a separetely email to you guys). -If you plan to drive your own car and willing to pick up new students, pls notify in your reply.?Your admission is?then **FREE**!!!
DIRECTION: From Science Drive-Go down Science Drive until you hit NC 751 (2nd light) and turn right. Turn right onto 15-501 north (2nd light). Get off at the Hillsborough Rd exit (108D) and turn left off the ramp. At Cole Mill Rd, turn right. Stay on Cole Mill Rd for several miles. When you see Umstead Rd (light), follow the sign for the Cole Mill access (turn left). You will pass some houses and then the shelter will be to your right in the woods (you cant see it) when you see parking and a little outhouse.?our destination is at the end of Cole Mill Road (Cole Mill picnic shelter). it is located at the upper left of the map. <http://www.ils.unc.edu/parkproject/visit/enri/enri.pdf>
