Cultural Events

The United States is presently experiencing an explosion of interest in Cuban culture. Like the Speaker's Circuit, co-sponsorship of cultural events can be highly cost-effective. In addition, it can be an excellent vehicle for community outreach, enabling members to go beyond the confines of their own institution, expand their constituency, and build broad-based awareness and public support for their programs.

Members are kept informed of opportunities to host such events via the listserv, and as co-sponsors, would only need to cover a fraction of the cost. The CSC will facilitate such events and assist with their organization, routing, visa processing and troubleshooting.

Co-sponsorship opportunities include:

Art Exhibits (physical and virtual)
Musical Performances and Workshops
Theatrical Productions
Dance Performances
Presentations on Cultural Topics and Issues

In addition, the CSC website will also feature art, photographic and other virtual exhibits organized by members.
