Keval Kaur Khalsa, Associate Professor of the Practice of Dance. holds an M.A. in Dance from Ohio State University and choreographed, performed and taught in New York City for eight years prior to relocating to Durham. Keval has performed with the Limón Company, in the works of Clay Taliaferro and many other independent choreographers in the United States and Europe. As Co-Artistic Director of Two Near The Edge, a Durham-based duet dance company, she maintains an active touring and residency schedule. Keval teaches Modern and Jazz technique, Composition, Repertory, and a team-taught freshman Focus course in political theatre and performance with Drama faculty member Jeff Storer.
