iPod support for instructors
The Duke Digital Initiative is sponsoring an iPod program for instructors of undergraduate courses. Eligible participants will receive a grant of a 5th generation ("video") iPod and a microphone accessory. Instructors who have previously received a 5th generation iPod package from Duke are not eligible for this program. The Center for Instructional Technology also provides a variety of training and consultation options for instructors and faculty who wish to use portable media devices and other technologies in their courses.

iPods for Students
Students who wish to borrow an iPod for the term to use in undergraduate coursework and activities may do so through the OIT loaner pool.
Eligible participants may request the loan of an iPod kit (5th generation iPod and microphone accessory) from the OIT Help Desk. The loan kit must be returned at the end of the term or a fine (equal to the retail replacement cost of the equipment) will be levied. The Office of Information Technology provides a range of training sessions of interest to students who plan to use iPods in academic work.
