Zamboni is a game that we Dekes
at Epsilon Rho play. The story goes that one
night while drinking some keg beer - not all that different from any other
night! - someone spilled their cup and cleaned up
the beer with a roll of toilet paper. Someone commented that the roll of TP
worked like a Zamboni, which is the machine that
cleans up ice skating rinks. They started horsing around and before you
knew it, they had invented a new game.
We play Zamboni
every Saturday morning, hangovers or no hangovers. The best description one
can give to the game is to take rugby and forget the rules. Any and all are
welcome to join us any Saturday.
Since we moved to Craven Quad, some times we play
on the WEL Quad on West, so if you’re interested in playing one
Saturday, email our Zamboni Captain and let him know. He’ll make sure you get to the
game.
