Theater Studies 91: Introduction to Theater Studies
Four courses in dramatic literature or theater history from those numbered Theater Studies 101 to 134 (one of which must focus on theater before 1900)
Four courses in theater arts and practice from those numbered Theater Studies 95S or 99S, 135S to 169S, and 180 to 185, one of which must focus on the process of creating a theatrical production (Theater Studies 95, Theater Studies 181, or Theater Studies 185A).
Theater Studies 189S: Senior Colloquium
MINOR REQUIREMENTS
If you matriculated BEFORE May 2004, the MINOR requirements are listed below
Theater Studies 91: Introduction to Theater Studies
Four additional 100-level Theater Studies courses; 95S or 99S may substitute for one of them.
Notes:First- and second-year students with an interest in theater are encouraged to take Theater Studies 91: Introduction to Theater Studies, Theater Studies 92S: Introduction to Performance Studies, Theater Studies 95S: Introduction to Theater Production, or Theater Studies 99S: Introduction to Performance. Majors are required to take Theater Studies 91, which should be completed by the beginning of the second semester after declaring the major.
Only one of the following – Theater Studies 95S, 181 or 185 -- may be used to fulfill a major or minor requirement.
