Fool for Love
The Duke Players, the student organization associated with the Duke University Department of Theater Studies, will present Fool for Love by Sam Shepard. Duke student Gretchen Wright will direct the play.
Fool for Love will play in 209 East Duke on Duke’s East Campus Feb. 22-23 at 8 pm and Feb. 24 at 2 pm. Admission is free.
Shepard’s play about foolish love in a Mohave Desert motel had its world premiere at the Magic Theatre in San Francisco, where Shepard was the resident playwright. It had its New York City premiere at the Circle Repertory Theatre in 1983 and later transferred to the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre.
