English Language Proficiency Tests

International graduate students whose first language is not English are required to take a writing and speaking exam administered through the Graduate School. This requirement applies to all students pursuing a Ph.D., M.S., M.A., M.P.P., or M.A.T. degree.

You are exempt from this requirement if you are a non-degree student.

 

To Fall 2005 Test Information...

 

I. Writing Exam

Information about the writing exam will be posted here soon. You will be able to register online using your NetID login. The writing exam will be held on Monday, August 22, 2005. You will need to bring a picture ID and two pencils or pens to the exam.

II. Speaking Exam

Information about the speaking exam will be posted here soon. You will be able to register online using your NetID login. The exam will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2005. You will need to bring a picture ID to the exam.

III. Test Results

Exam results will be made available online as well. When you logon with your NetID to the test results page, you will be able to see your exam results only.
